I have an issue accessing my DHCP settings, due to an infinite loading screen. I have attempted rebooting my router but nothing changes. Here is the info. Your firmware is the same as mine, which I'm sure is the latest. My DHCP menu option works fine. I assume you've tried a power cycle reboot. seg We are not aware of any such errors. I have seen modems connected to over 30 devices without any issues.

Please reset your modem and try again.

Actually, you could try just doing a settings backup and immediately restoring them, just in case something got corrupted and this fixes it.

I appreciate the responses but I don’t think there is something corrupted. Aside from this screen, the router and the configured reservations work fine.

I think it has something to do with the amount of connected devices. According to that json, I have around 17 connected devices. I believe the programming breaks down when you have a large amount of connected devices. So it would only be fixed via a firmware update.

The UI also reports I have no devices connected, however in practice they are all connected and working (getting their reserved IPs).

@Sunrise_Team is this a know issue?

Hi @Daniele_Sunrise, thanks for the tip.

I’ll give the factory reset a shot when I have some time, though I suspect the issue might be deeper than a simple settings glitch. The router actually follows my configuration perfectly. The issue seems strictly limited to the UI’s trouble with the endpoints that return the list of connected devices.

One detail that might be helpful for your technical team: I have over 10 reserved IP addresses. I wonder if that volume of entries is a contributing factor in the firmware returning a malformed response to the browser.

I’m not sure exactly when I’ll have the time to perform the reset, but I’ll report back once I do. In the meantime, if you find out anything new or have another theory you’d like me to test, I’m all ears!

I have exactly the same problem. After resetting, it worked again, until I deleted one of the entries in the reserved list. After that it was stuck again in the infinite loop.

After resetting again, adding entries, and then deleting some of them, it is stuck again, so it is reproducible.

In the response of /rest/v1/network/hosts I get a warning, that the JSON isn’t properly formatted (SyntaxError: JSON.parse: end of data after property value in object at line 1 column 975 of the JSON data)…

@vinceh and @seg , Our modem team has been able to reproduce the issue you reported using the current firmware on your modem. They have also tested the new firmware in parallel, and this no longer exhibits the fault.

The new firmware will therefore be installed on your modem later today. Please let me know tomorrow whether the fault is still present. I’ll be back on Monday and will read your feedback.

Hi @Daniele_Sunrise , I can confirm that I got the update and the DHCP page no longer has the infinite loading. I am able to add and remove reservations. So this functionality is no longer blocked.

However, the issue with the invalid json coming from https://192.168.1.1/rest/v1/network/hosts?connectedOnly=true is still there. This causes the UI to show that there are no connected devices, while there are several connected.

So the last change was definitely an improvement, but there are still issues.
