SIM to eSIM for new iPhone

Just switched from an old Apple SE to the new Apple 17e. All calls to my number are now sent to voicemail. Does the SIM not automatically transfer to an eSIM when everything else is? (NOTE : I also tried to delete the previous “Focus” schedule that automatically went to “Do not disturb”)

To use a eSIM you’ll need to order one as a replacement for the SIM card. You can do it on MySunrise. A eSIM should be free of charge.

It might take a couple of days to get the eSIM.

You need to move the physical SIM from the old to the new phone.

If you want to change to an eSIM, then Xydocq’s post above explains the way, although it may be possible to do yourself.

First, move the SIM to your 17e and then try these steps:
