Issue with Local Network Router IPv6 settings in Wi-Fi and LAN mode, that slow down Microsoft Application on Android Device (Android 13 and 16 tested) (Slow to login, open/download: image, video and attachments) for application like: Microsoft Teams (enterprise account and also on student account), Outlook, Word, Copilot, and others.
Since a while when using the home Wi-Fi network from the connect Box 3 (HFC => Coaxial Cable version), on Android Devices, I experienced a very slow connection only with Microsoft Application.
Apple iOS devices on same network, Windows PC/Notebook doesn't have the same issue, and is not related to bad internet connection speed, or problem with the Wi-Fi Signal or LAN connection.
With the help of Gemini Artificial Intelligence I found out a first solution, that was trying to use the VPN connection (by downloading the Cloudflare App from GooglePlay), as suggested from the AI the problem was probably related by the complexity of the IPv6 network, that assign 3 different IP address to the device.
Another solution that works, was using the Guest WiFi that simplify the IPv6 network by assigning only 1 IP address to the device.
By searching in the Connect Box 3 HFC Settings:
Advanced settings => DHCP => DHCPv6 server => set the check on => Stateless => Apply changes
The problem seems to be solved on standard wi-fi network.
Not sure of the origin of the issue, if is a bug with android devices, or if there is something not setup correctly in the device firmware.
