Hello everyone
We have recently received various inquiries as to whether you can use your own router instead of the Connect Box 3 DSL (with receiver). My answer was vague at the time and is no longer correct.
After internal inquiries, we now have a correct answer to these questions - yes it is possible.
How can you proceed?
1. Get a DSL bridge (example) or a DSL modem certified by Swisscom (e.g. Fritzbox)
2. if you have a bridge, this is connected directly to the telephone socket and then your router can be connected.
3. if you have a DSL modem, you can connect and use it directly.
We will add this information to the DSL modem in the knowledge base.
Greetings
Daniele
