Is it possible to set a schedule for wifi on/off on connectbox or must we use external router with that capability?

Welcome to the community.

As far as I know there’s no such setting on the Connect Box.

Adding a third party wifi-access-point is possible and might be the solution. In that case the WLAN on the Connect Box can be disabled unless you use the Connect App to control the Box.
