I’d simply like to manage my entire network through the ubiquity router. Port forwarding, VLANs, DHCP (in the DHCP settings of the Connect Box 3 FIBRE, I can’t even define a secondary DNS) - and all that without having to NAT twice ideally.
Again, thank you for the helpful answer - I believe I will be looking into a different provider then I would be hoping that I could also get rid of a dedicated modem and connect the fibre able cdirectly to the UDR 7 through an SFP+ fibre module. That would yield fewer devices, fewer patch cables, fewer power bricks, etc. (The above probably doesn’t work, as the UDR 7 isn’t an ONT, and only supports ethernet over fibre with the right SPF+ module.)
