CiBi48 I would like to modify and reserve a fixed IP address. The system is rejecting all my attempts with the error message “Is not a valid IP address”. What do you think is going on ? Where should I be looking to solve this issue ? (any EU language).
Xydocq hello CiBi48 First of all you have to pay attention to the DHCPv4 settings Any number lower then 10 at the end will result in an invalid IP-address. while a number 10 or greater then 10 will have a different result hope this helps
CiBi48 Hi Xydocq, thanks for your reply. I was actually expecting the answer you gave me. My surprise — and the issue — is that I keep getting the same result, ‘192.168.1.xx’, no matter what number I enter! What do you think is going wrong in my case or where lies my mistake ? Cheers. CiBi
CiBi48 … to be clear: I keep getting the same result “192.168.1.xxx. is not a valid IP address. ” i.g. xxx=200 …
Xydocq hello CiBi48 This is a strange behaviour. The only thing I could think of, there might be some hiccup within the Connect Box 3. If there’s just a hiccup, a factory reset should take care of it. At least it’s one thing, you can try.

CiBi48 CiBi48 I’m honestly not sure what to say! After calling Sunrise technical support to request assistance, I was suddenly able to add new IP addresses to the DHCP page—before any external intervention took place. It seems the issue has resolved itself! Thx for your help …
Xydocq hello CiBi48 I was able to create a similar error. The error was forced by “Space Key”. The IP address entered was 192.168.1 .10 I did try this after looking at your posts. What is this thing after the 1?
CiBi48 The “D” was an interference from Dashlane, a program that manages all my passwords. I’m so used to seeing it appear in fields where I need to enter something repetitive—like a password—that I didn’t notice it at first. This “D” is (normally?!) transparent and does no harm. Nevertheless, now that the Router Interface is working properly, the “D” no longer appears. I think you could have nailed it. Respect !! THX ! CiBi
