I have just received and installed the Connect Box and so far it works fine apart from one issue. I have a Synology NAS linked to my network and with the previous modem/router (WLAN Modem TC7200 - CPE) was able to access it from outside the network through port forwarding.
I have tried to re-setup my NAS to work with the Connect Box and in principle it should work – the Connect Box is talking to my NAS and the NAS itself has been able to set up port forwarding rules in the Connect Box. However, when I try to access it using a DNS provided by Synology, or for that matter using just the IP address, along with the respective ports opened, it always fails.
Moreover, even when I have enabled the admin interface of the Connect Box to be accessible remotely via the default port 8443, it does not work.
