Poor connection to VPN on Macbook

I have a Fiber Connect Box 3 for my home WiFi. The connection works well and fast on all my devices generally. However, when I try connecting to my work VPN with my Macbook the connection to VPN is always really slow and often times out before the connection is made. The VPN connects really fast when I’m on any other network so I’m guessing it’s something to do with Sunrise. Funnily, my iPad connects quickly to the same VPN even from my home WiFi. Is this a common issue and is there a simple fix for this?

please check if your Connect Box 3 FIBRE receives an IPv6 or IPv4 address.

If it runs on IPv6, please call 0800 707 707 and request the change to IPv4. Maybe this will solve the problem.

Xydocq Hi, thank you for the suggestion. However, I checked and my router already receives IPv4. I wanted to add to my previous query that the Safari on my Macbook also runs extremely slow while other browsers run just fine, although I don’t know if this is unrelated.

Maybe you need to edit the network location on your Mac.
