You know what it’s like: you’ve had another later night and have to hurry to catch the train in the morning. Sure enough, you have forgotten to record your favourite programme on the Horizon box. No problem! Now you can very easily do so via Horizon Go.
This frequently requested function is finally here! 🙂 Effective immediately, you can conveniently schedule recordings for your Horizon box via the Horizon Go app on iOS, Android and Windows 10 or at www.horizon.tv.
The important thing is that your Horizon box is in high standby mode. Otherwise, Horizon Go will not be able to connect to the box. You can check the current mode in the box’s settings > Toolbox > Preferences > Power consumption in standby > High.
And scheduling is as simple as this:
In the Horizon Go app or PC version, select a programme in the TV guide and press/click on the red circle underneath the programme details. The desired programme will now be scheduled for recording.

If the recording has been successfully scheduled on the Horizon box, a confirmation message will be displayed in the app and the scheduled programme will be indicated with a red dot in the TV guide:

Your desired programme will now be recorded for you. The only thing left for you to do now is turn on the box when you get home from work, select your recordings and start watching!
By the way, remote programming also works from abroad. So if you are lying on the beach under a palm tree and suddenly realise you have forgotten to schedule Grey’s Anatomy, the problem will be solved in a jiffy. 😉
