I own a Sunrise Connect Box with 2.5G bandwidth and have been trying to find specific technical details about its performance.

I found some information, but none of the sources mention the router’s signal strength in dBm.

The manufacturer’s website (sagemcom), under model 253930343, does not provide this detail, nor does the leaflet in the box.

I’m struggling with WiFi reception throughout the house. Most modern clients don’t allow manual selection between 2.4GHz and 5GHz, so I can only enable or disable one or the other—or split them, which is annoying.

I need to know the router’s signal power to determine whether I should buy a more powerful access point.

You won’t find any information regarding the WiFi signal strength on the Connect Box 3.

Even though I haven’t had issues with the WiFi of the Connect Box 3 and it does generally work, I use third party access points.

They provide much more options and are easier to handle. The use of additional APs is possible with ease and without the monthly fee Sunrise charges for their options.
