I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received from Sunrise, regards the calculation of my Insurance when originally I wanted to repair for my iPhone 15 Pro Max.
I initially contacted Apple Store to discuss the repair of my iPhone. They informed me that I would be charged a fee of 100 CHF for the repair or that I could get a replacement. On my way home, I visited a Sunrise store located in Bahnhofpassage, Einkaufszentrum ShopVille Railcity, 8001 Zürich. I sought to explore repair options and expressed my desire for a temporary iPhone or a replacement device.
Despite my clear preference for a repair, Sunrise refused to accommodate my request. They attempted to persuade me to upgrade my iPhone contract for the next two years, which I declined. I subsequently contacted Sunrise customer service and was assured that I could cancel the upgrade and revert to my original status with my iPhone 15 Pro Max. which didn’t happen.
However, I was left with a broken iPhone that I had intended to repair and gift to my girlfriend. I had already paid a significant amount for the iPhone, and now I am faced with the inconvenience of having a damaged device without insurance coverage from Sunrise Insurance. or CHUBB.
I am deeply disappointed and betrayed by the lack of customer service I received from Sunrise. It appears that their priorities lie with profits rather than customer needs. I am considering taking my business elsewhere and will likely never recommend Sunrise to others. please FIX this.
