I requested a cancellation earlier this month for canceling my current subscription (with no contract period) at the end of January. The cancellation is confirmed, but I was charged a cancellation fee. I am permanently leaving Switzerland, granted the attestation of departure, and will not be coming back for any residential stays; why is the cancellation fee still applied to the circumstance? I have consulted online and all other telecom companies has waived such unfair fees, and even from some Sunrise customers. I understand the existence of such condition for local users due to the consideration of benefits of frequent changes in service providers, but it is not the case for those customers leaving Switzerland permanently and have already de-registered from the population office.
I kindly request for the waiver to such circumstance and suggest Sunrise to change the terms and conditions regarding such circumstances. There is no point to chase for a cancellation fee to someone not even in Switzerland
