Hi guys!
I recently got a new Connect Box 3 as an update from very old Connect Box 1. I want to connect it to a brand new wifi 7 router Netgear RS500. Unfortunately the internet connectivity via 2.5 Gbit port of CB3 does not work. It appears that the router is not getting an IP assigned from the DHCP service of CB3 (the GUI reports “no internet” and IP stays as 0.0.0.0). The connection works if I use any of the other three 1 Gbit ports of CB3. The LAN cable between CB3 and RS500 is a new cat8 cable. At first I suspected that the RS500 was faulty so I had it exchanged. However the exact same problem persists even with the replacement router. Therefore I now suspect that the 2.5 Gbit port of CB3 is faulty. I cannot think of a config issue that could cause such behaviour. Anybody else got the same issue ? Can I potentially ask for a CB3 replacement ?
