I am reaching out for assistance with a frustrating situation involving my internet subscription. I originally had a contract with UPC, which I canceled in August 2024. UPC informed me that I would need to pay until the end of October due to the timing of my cancellation, which I did in full. However, despite completing my obligations with UPC, I was automatically transferred to Sunrise at the end of August, and I am now being billed by Sunrise for a subscription I do not use and never agreed to continue.
I’ve already contacted Sunrise customer service, and they wanted me to cancel my subscription with them (and of course, pay my bills until this cancelation is effective). However, since UPC no longer handles customer inquiries, and Sunrise acquired their operations, I believe Sunrise should already have access to my cancellation details.
I kindly ask Sunrise to investigate this issue internally, verify my cancellation with the records from UPC, and ensure that no further invoices are issued. I fulfilled my contractual obligations with UPC, and this ongoing billing issue should be resolved without additional burden on me.
I would greatly appreciate guidance on how this can be addressed promptly. Thank you in advance for your help.
