Dear community,
At the end of April, she went to the Sunrise store and she bought a complete package TV + Internet + Mobile Phone. Her only request was to be able to make calls from Switzerland to the UK. The salesman told her the mobile phone contract included unlimited roaming calls and thus she could call the UK. My mum is quite technophobe and she doesn’t really understand much about the different mobile contracts and options., thus she trusted the salesman. Unluckily, I live abroad so I couldn’t go to the shop with her.
Few months later, I check her invoices and I can see she has been charged for all the calls she made from Switzerland to the UK; we are talking about an extra 100 chf a month on top of the expensive mobile contract.
Her current contract (Up mobile L) seems to run for a 24 months period. She doesn’t need this contract, she just needs unlimited calls in Switzerland, 5 gb of data and the option for unlimited calls towards the UK.
Can she change her contract for a different one even if we are 7 months into the contract? Bear in mind she also got a new phone with the mobile contract.
Cheers
