not possible to create port forwarding rules for port 80 and 443

I can’t create port forwarding rules for port 80 and 443, other ports are working fine. this is the error message that i get

it looks like the same problem than here

The internal DHCP IP range starts from 192.168.1.10. However, you have 2 devices which have this IP 192.168.1.2 and 192.168.1.4. Can you please check whether these devices have entered a fixed internal IP address? If not, please restart these two devices so that they are assigned an IP by the modem. You can then test the port forwarding again. Please delete also the 2 wrong portforwarding entries.

indeed DHCP starts from 192.168.1.10, I use <10 for fixed IPs.

192.168.1.2 and 192.168.1.4 have fixed IP and are working fine. the existing rules are working fine, so i wouldn’t call them wrong. Port forwarding for 192.168.1.2 works, it does not allow me to create rules for 80 and 443 which is VERY strange.

Strange is, that its states that this rule is *overlapping", for me this indicates, that port 80 is allredy in a rule.
Can you post a screenshot of your rules?

This is very strange, that “overlapping” still irritates me, since there is no such rule set in your screenshot.
Upnp is disabled? Perhaps this could be a source for this behavior.

gnz Can you please check the menu entries marked in blue to see if anything has been entered there and if so, delete them?

If you didn’t have any entries, could you please remove the fixed IP from one of your devices and have the modem’s DHCP server automatically assign one and then test port forwarding for this device. Somehow I have the feeling that your plan might not work because the DHCP range is outside the internal IPs that are assigned.

there are no port triggering nor port filtering rules and

I will try to assign an IP using DHCP, hoever i don’t have much hope for it. port fowarding is already working for 2 rules that i posted above. but let’s try everything.

Strange, one thing you can try is to set your local port to something like 8080, so that its routing from external port 80 to local port 8080 on your Webserver.
Same for 443.
Its a bit of work, but i hope this works out.

I can only imagine, that the CB has a problem with routing Port 80 from external to only one IP in you Network.

I received a new router after a call to customer service. the new router works OK. I have setup all my port-forwarding rules and they work fine.

I wonder how the router image is applied…
