Hello, can someone confirm that it is possible to enable port forwarding (and IPV4) on coax routers ? Couldn’t get a clear-cut answer from support and shop.

I want to:
1/ Connect a local server to WAN and open necessary ports
2/ Switch my PS4 from NAT 3 to NAT 2

Yes, port forwarding can be set for all modems.

Yes it can be set but does it work…

I tried all possible combinations to open a port and nothing seems to work.

I am using this tool to check the port https://portchecker.co/check-it

CGNAT is the issue ?!?

22sunit The port forwarding has been set up correctly for the IP x.x.x.211. May I ask what kind of device this is? If the device with IP x.x.x.211 has an integrated firewall, you must also release the port on this.

Daniele_Sunrise Hi, it’s a Proxmox LXC container, firewall is disabled both on the container and on the Proxmox server itself.

So, apparently it takes time for the modem to actually apply the changes. I slept over it and it’s been working flawlessly so far…
