Hi,
I’m an existing customer and I’ve just moved in a new flat. I’ve announced the change of address to Sunrise a week ago, received a new modem (Connect Box 3 Fiber) and connected it. The blue light has been blinking for more than an hour now and I’ve tried rebooting the modem already.
When I log in the modem, I see that it has access to Internet:
But trying to load any page (e.g. Google portal) ends up with “DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NO_INTERNET”, and any attempt to ping 8.8.8.8 just timeouts.
According to MySunrise, I’m already supposed to be able to setup all that, so I think it should work “out of the box”, but it doesn’t seem to.
Any idea why ?
Some extra information, I’m not sure I picked the correct optical fiber port. The guide says “pick the one communicated by Sunrise”, but I’ve not received such communication. I tried the 1st port, red blinking LED, so I changed to the 2nd port and now it’s blue blinking LED.
Side question but is there a proper complete user manual/technical documentation for this device ? I’ve just found a tiny PDF with the two same pages found in the device package, but I’d like a complete manual to know what each LED signal is indicating, or for further configuration.
