Switching to bridge mode with Sunrise Connect Box 3 Fiber modem.

Hello Team,

I’d like to have an ability to switch my new Sunrise modem (Connect Box 3 Fiber) into a bridge mode through my modem admin console on-demand. I plan to attach a 3rd party router with a more complex WiFi network set up in the near future, so that I can handle subnets for guests, children, parental broad access, IoT devices and network devices like printers etc. I might also start using VPN server installed in the 3rd party router at some point in the future.

Is it possible to have a modem admin console option, allowing me to turn on and off the bridge mode on demand?

ozi The Fibre modems cannot be bridged. This is only possible with modems that are connected via the cable network (HFC). We recommend you to use the DMZ mode with your own router.
