I have noticed since my mobile subscription has switched to Sunrise and that my mobile phone now has the carrier set to Sunrise. The Wi-Fi calling used to be shown on the Iphone, but is no longer being shown.
Although the phone itself still has Wi-Fi Calling activated.
Is this because the phone is still connected to the internet using Wi-Fi signal and this means that I am still using Wi-Fi to make calls when I am connected at home?
And the reason it is not shown is that it is the UPC Servers still controlling the internet, but the Carrier Sunrise is not supporting at the moment Wi-Fi Calling because Sunrise is NOT controlling the internet with their own Servers?
Some explanation would be nice, to confirm that calls made on home network does actually use the Wi-Fi network and NOT the cellular network.
