I just swapped over from UPC to Sunrise using a Connect Box3. Firstly the change went very smoothly and I was up and running with Internet over LAN and Wifi very quickly. After configuring the dhcp and wifi securitys and setting my Wifi 2.4 & 5Ghz network preferences I noticed that none of my devices were actually connecting to the 5Ghz Wifi network. I can see it but when I want to connect it doesn’t work. This I tried from 6 different devices over the whole network. From apple devices (Apple, TV, iPad, iPhone, iMac), Printer, Vacuum Robot. I even tried switching the 2.4 Ghz off, and also giving the 5Ghz network a different name. Everytime I tried something I also restarted the Modem.
I have done a factory reset but have now given up using the 5Ghz network as it simply doesn’t work.
We have also noticed a drop out in the Internet which only comes irregularly, usually when we are watching Netflix. We have to wait 5 mins and then it all works again.
