Poor Wifi when on VPN

I’m on Giga Connect Box and experience super slow internet whenever using the work VPN, it works fine on other Wifi’s etc., so it seems that the UPC is somehow limiting the use VPN, any thoughts?

I found the following - https://community.sunrise.ch/d/16254-work-vpn-connection-unstable but could not find where to change it from IPv6 to IPv4

rokks Welcome to the community!

We have made the changeover to IPv4, which will be completed in 30 minutes. Restart your modem afterwards. If you have problems, reset your modem. Press the reset button on the back of the modem with a pointed object for at least 25 seconds.

Please report back afterwards if this fixes the cause.

There was really an issue “on the street” with the signal, don’t see any difference after the fix though, the internet still is horrible when on UPC Wifi and work VPN.

rokks I do not have any other settings that I can do. Except for your Apple laptop, which has insufficient signal from time to time, everything is fine.

I have activated the 5GHz WIFI as a further test and added a 5GHz in the name at the end. Please connect your MAC to this WIFI.

I’m replying now from the affected device on VPN if that helps somehow in the analysis.

rokks Can you please connect your Mac Laptop Air once to this WIFI (pu….._5G) and ignore the other WIFI network so that it does not switch back?
