It seems in recent months both the TV service and internet connection have become flakey…
For the internet connection it occasional drops but reports nothing. A restart of the UPC router seems to resolve that, which is very inconvenient.
However, the issue with the TV has a more significant impact. Issues with the internet do NOT correlate with TV related issues. When the issue starts with the TV it can be persistent, making the TV unusable for an evening.
The system has worked for years without issue. Mostly it works ok still
When the issue starts, the same channels that work fine usually start to report no-signal, the channel signal becomes corrupted, or it reports no-access to the channel. Sometimes a combination of those can be reported on and off all evening.
This doesn’t seem like an issue with the digicard / receiver itself. This seems very much like an issue on the service provider side. But when looking online the service status is “good” always…
Any ideas what the issue might be?
