Hello! I’ve been using the old Sunrise Internet Box (DSL internet over copper phone lines) in my apartment since 2020. In 2022.11, I received the new Sunrise Internet Box (using cable socket) to replace the old one. However, my apartment currently does not have a 2-hole or 3-hole socket (it used to have one, but it was sealed with a blank panel by the UPC technician when the last tenant moved out in 2020). Since 2022.12.1, Sunrise shut down the DSL internet (via phone line) in my apartment, and I completely lost the Wifi connection in my room.
I’ve two questions:
Is it possible for me to still use the old Sunrise Internet Box with the DSL internet (via phone line) in my apartment?
If I must switch to the new Sunrise Internet Box with the cable socket, will Sunrise send a technician to install the 2-hole or 3-hole socket on the sealed socket (the blank panel) in my room?
Thank you very much!
