Hi,

I have a brand new Samsung Galaxy A53 ( Phone from 2022) and the Sunrise TV app says that my phone is not compatible. How come a phone from 2022 and android 12 is not compatible with the app.

I uninstalled it and now when I look for it in the playstore , does not even appear due to compatibility with the device.

    As this may help the community, I found the issue and in my case (probably for some other people too) was that I migrated my old Samsung with their Transfer App that mirrors many of the stuff from the previous phone to the new one.
    I suppose the playstore (due to configuration files) thinks that it is still running on and old phone and not on the new one. When looking for the SunriseTV app this will not be shown because it is not anymore compatible with that old phone. To not extend myself longer, I did this:

    Phone>SystemSettings>Applications> search for “playstore” and in the storage section clear all data and cache from it.

    I ran again the playstore and voila!! there was the Sunrise TV app available for installation and not showing anymore that it’s not compatible with my device.

    Hope this helps other.

    Please change the country of the Google store to switzerland according to the following instructions. After that you will find the app in the store again. Test it again afterwards.

      Thank you for your reply, I was reading another post were you suggested the same.

      I checked in my Google play store configuration and it’s set up with Switzerland as a country, this has been so since I setup my phone.

      Any Other idea?
