Hi folks, I am looking for your personal experience advice

I have been using Swisscom Internet & TV for the last 15 years, and I am growing frustrated with them, because of the price, periodic downtime, and a rather lousy service lately. So we are thinking about moving to Sunrize.

My question to the community is, did any of you make the same switch? If yes, please share your experience. Was it a smooth transition? Do you see any pros and cons? Anything that you wish you knew before moving?

Since I have not changed from Swisscom to Sunrise, I can not tell you anything. Basically, the change should go smoothly, as long as the previous provider releases the signal in time, so that Sunrise can connect the services to the signal.

Daniele_Sunrise Are you talking about mobile phones? My question is about home internet. How do you mean, by “previous provider releases the signal” in this context?

varera If you are with Swisscom, then you are using FTTH or DSL technology. Here, a signal is connected to you, which we as Sunrise also need when you register with us - but only if you also use DSL or FTTH with us. Our colleagues at customer service 0800 707 707 will be happy to provide you with further information.

Daniele_Sunrise So, if I understand you correctly, you can take over the Swisscom phone line I have in the apartment? That is excellent news, it simplifies a lot of things for me. Yes, I am using a DSL line from Swisscom.
