Is it possible to turnoff the Wi-Fi during certain times of the day. I wish having the wireless off during nights to avoid unnecessary radiations and to save energy.

Alternatively I would be ok if the router was switching off as a whole.

Jukas Unfortunately a timer controlled WIFI is not possible on the Connect modems. But you can turn off the modem completely via a timer. You could also set the modem to bridge mode and then install your own router that has the features you want.

I am already looking for a smart plug with timer function. Not easy to find something that works …

Any plug timer would work.

Something simple like this, although probably a bit cheaper in Jumbo or Obi:

I have all my “entertainment” stuff (modem/router, TV box, TV, AVR, Logitech Harmony hub etc.) connected to one socket and I manually switch it off at night, and back on during the day, I’m probably only saving a few rappen a night in standby usage but I still do it.

As for WiFi “radiation” - meh.
