Hi, I had a 2-year UPC internet subscription which has finished last month, after which they started charging more. I called UPC and Sunrise to try to get a new subscription, as I can see UPC/Sunrise offers better packages now.
However, when contacting Sunrise I was told they cannot take customers from UPC (???) and when I called UPC they said the only thing I can do is to cancel (with a 3-month notice period!).
I must add that it was a horrible experience calling UPC, it took several WEEKS of calling, waiting for hours, I went I finally got through the line, the people seemed more like robots and did not offer any solutions. As of now, I’m still waiting for confirmation of my cancellation from UPC.
One of the times I called Sunrise, I have been told that Sunrise could help with porting services but it was unclear how, can you tell me more about this? Is there a way to get rid of UPC faster and get service from Sunrise instead? This process should be much easier and clearer.
