i am opening this thread as i am just about to throw both chromecast and the sunrise equipment off the window.
to be fair, I never had a problem with my chromecast before but the sunrise configuration seems to be a major disaster so far.
Apparently to have the chromecast working you need to disable AP isolation among other things, but in the configuration of the sunrise box there is no such thing as access point isolation, or client isolation or anything similar. In fact there is only DLNS but that doesnt seem to sort out the problem.
I cannot connect chromecast via google home on the main internet connection either on 2.4ghz or 5ghz, or combined mode, i can only connect on the guest wifi network and that is on channel 1 only basis 2.4 ghz and pretty much random. I basically have to reset to factory settings every time i want to use chromecast and hope it works.
Is there anybody from support in here that has a solution? Also considering how much the sunrise box has proven itself useless so far for the sole purpose i need it, can i replace it with another router like TP Link that has such settings i can use?
Did anybody have similar issues with chromecast in the past?
