Daniele_Sunrise Thanks for your help and suggestion. In fact I am using the sunrise Fibre Modem, and happy if it works from there.
All the devices as Printer, HomePod, Hue i do not need to have it accessible from outside my home.
It is fine if it works onces I am connected to Home WLAN.
Are you suggesting under “Access control” to open ports in the “Firewall, ”Port Forwarding" or “Port Triggering” ?
Port Forwarding:
- Enable: ON
- Service: i.e. AirPrint
- Protocol: TCP & UDP
- External Host: 192.168.1.1. (IP FibreBox)
- Internal Host: 192.168.1.173 (Fixed IP LAN Printer)
- External Port: 7910
- Internal Port: 7910
(Repeat for additional ports i.e 631, 9100, 9444, 1900, 5350 - 5355, etc)
Is it what you mentioned?
Is there any setting which controls the communication between WLAN – LAN on the Fibrebox?
I am asking as when the iphone is connected to WIFI extension box, which is connected via LAN to the FibreBox it is working.
Wouldn’t we expect that such well know and often used service as AirPlay, AirPrint are configured to work by default?
Thank you for your help.
Greetings Felix
