I picked “Internet” but obviously I’ve lost every single service (apart from the mobile).

Is this a known issue in 4054 or local to me? The status page shows red for all my services, but that doesn’t tell me where the issue is or whether anyone else apart from me has noticed 🙂

I was hoping it’d be fixed by the end of today, but I guess not. Hopefully tomorrow morning. I’ll keep everyone updated! I don’t see anyone else posting moans across the language sections, so I guess not many people are affected.

adrianlondon , jasminechch Fiber team needed to cut the entire cable containing 240 fibers and worked the whole night on the splice job. At the moment a technician is on site to bring the remaining modems online.

It’s the same in 4051, no internet access available since last evening and the light indicator on the modem has been blinking.

Hopefully it is fixed by today!

Hi Daniele,

My internet (and TV and, in my case, radio) all came back to life 10 minutes ago (10:10). If you have access, please thank the engineers for their hard work!

EDIT: It died again. It must be a work in progress. It shouldn’t be too long now, then. The engineers still need thanking 🙂

EDIT2: Back online! 10:35. Hopefully the same for you Jasmine. You don’t need to reboot your modem; it’s smart enough to work it all out.

There’s a lot of construction and road digging going on near me, so maybe someone carelessly damaged the cable.

Jasmine, it depends where in 4051 you are; if you back on to Brausebad / Schützenmattpark then it could well be the same issue, so hopefully you’re back online too.

You probably know this, but in case you didn’t, a solution to living in total silence during this outage is to use your mobile’s hotspot and then the sunrise webpage (https://www.sunrisetv.ch/en/epg) to watch TV on your laptop. On average, this’ll burn through around 1GB/hour of your mobile data. Of course, if your mobile package is with UPC/Sunrise I’m sure any excess charges will be waived, but sometimes not watching TV for a while isn’t a bad thing.
