Second TV needs coaxial?

I have a TV and intenet setup in my main room. Giga connect box and UPC TV set top box, both connected with ethernet and coaxial. In my home’s top floor we have another tv, a 2nd TV box…but only ethernet/internet connection. So I plug in the box, can get Netflix, but no TV channels. Is it only possible with a coaxial cable? So for every TV in the home you need a coaxial connection?

RicT Yes, you need a coaxial connection for each UPC TV box, so you can watch all channels. Without the coaxial cable, you will not have the channels that come directly via cable connection.

Alternatively, you can install the UPC TV app on your TV. For the app you do not need a coaxial connection - Internet is enough.

Daniele_Sunrise Thanks so much Daniel…so the TV app can be installed directly on the TV, assume it needs to be a “smart tv” …as the one I have is old and likely not supporting this. Thanks again

RicT Exactly, a Smart TV is required. Alternatively, it also works with Google Chrome, Firestick, Apple TV, Nvidia Shield, etc..
