Internet connection very slow

I was quite happy with my UPC internet connection till last few days, since it has starting working really slow. I’ve tried working using multiple places and also very close to the router, however it works so slow that my video call get very choppy.

I only get 15 Mbps download speed on 1 Gig connection. Please look into this issue.

We have made a change to IPv4, which will be completed in 30 minutes. After that restart your modem. If you have difficulties, perform a modem reset. To do this, gently press the reset button on the back with a pointed object for at least 25 seconds.

Please report back afterwards with a feedback.

I did restart the modem and it has steady red light. After multiple restart the modem is back to normal but speed is still slow. Can you please replace the modem as it seem to be broken?

Hi Daniele,

Thank you for prompt reply. The modem reset did helped and speed is back to normal. The only problem is in one of the room the wifi signal is still low. Is there something can be done?
