Many micro cuts for a few days now

Hi,

For a few days now I’m noticing continuous micro cuts on my Internet connection. They are not noticeable while browsing, because connection is gone only for very few seconds, but they are annoying while doing online meetings (video and audio freezes momentarily).

I have rebooted the router (one or two days ago) but issue persists. I also run the diagnostics but router says that everything is okay (except telephone service which I don’t have).

What should I do? Do you see anything weird from your side about my connection?

Daniele_Sunrise No problem. They called me yesterday and technician will come tomorrow morning. I will write his feedback here.

Technician came today and first he checked the “socket” (don’t know if it’s the right word, but you know what I mean) I’m using to connect my router. Signal was bad already there so he checked the socket that comes to my flat. Signal was also bad there so we went to the basement and he quickly found that the issue was caused by a defective splitter (I attach photo below). He replaced it and all signals went green on his device.

Maybe now you can check again if signal values on my router are fine. I will not be able to test the connection during the weekend, but next week I will have a few online meetings so I will be able to notice if issue was fixed. I will write back then.

We have made a change to IPv4, which will be completed in 30 minutes. After that restart your modem. If you have difficulties, perform a modem reset. To do this, gently press the reset button on the back with a pointed object for at least 25 seconds.
