Slow or No DNS resolution / poor performance

Hi Support,

Since lastweek the performance of Thomson router has been poor.
DNS resolution to popular sites sometimes takes 30 seconds or more, or never resolve.
Internal house setup is same as it has been for years, nothing changed on my side of the Thomson router.
What has changed on your side?

I have done all the standard resolution:

check 3 point splitter connections to router

power off router, wait 60 seconds, power on

reset router

etc etc…

Right now it seems to work ok, but I have had this problem for a long time, it comes and it goes. Most annoying….

Did your connection return back to the life?

I have experienced last two days complete loss of connection.

Seems to be related to DHCP resolving at UPC side.

I can PING perfectly UPC IP address but I have very limited to no access to any other sites.

This problem is driving me crazy. I’d really love to hear wether you have been able to resolve it. Thanks in advance….
