I’d like to move my Connect Box to the electric locker, but don’t understand what type of cable do I need. There is all the wiring in my apartment so I thought to do the following:

Connect the SAT connector (A) of ConnectBox to instead of one of these cables (B). As I understand, this splitter allows to connect each of the rooms to TV
Connect ConnectBox RJ45 output © to the network splitter (D). As I understand this network splitter somehow distributes the network, if I connect to the main socket. If this wont work I can try to connect Connect Box to separate rooms with separate cables.
Plug ConnectBox to electricity and turn it on
Within one of my rooms try to connect with a network cable to see if the internet is available
Probably add additional router

So the question is if this connection scheme is viable? And which cable to buy to connect A with B?

hhGGhh Welcome to the community!

I recommend you to contact the company R&M, which made the Installation at home. You should install a junction box in the distribution box. Then you can plug in connector A on the modem and the other end piece into the box installed by the company. Then you feed all the RJ45 cables into the appropriate rooms, which corresponds to the point in picture D. This way it should work fine.

Thanks, Daniele! I’ve been in Jumbo yesterday and got over there an F-connector. Though I have made a small mistake and bought “father” type instead of “mother”. So I’ll probably will experiment with it further and hopefully with existing WISI cable from the ConnectBox would be able to connect it to the internet (A&B connection). Then I hope to experiment with C&D connection as well, e.g. should I connect the network wire from router to just the main plug or some additional wiring has to be made. Will update later on here, if it would help others.

For those who might have a similar setup as me: I’ve finally bought a F-plug/IEC-jack (mother) adapter from Jumbo and connected to it using another cable from the ConnectBox packing. Then connected network cables to ConnectBox and to specific spots (numbers should match network sockets available in your apartment). You might also need to buy additional switches & routers. Tested this setup in the morning - all works well
