Hi,
I need to connect a VPN box to be able to work from home, however my work IT department inform me they cannot see the VPN box trying to connect and everything is connected correctly and switched on, they have asked me to check the following ports are open if someone can help me please?
"So I need them to confirm the following are open, just to be clear
External Firewall Permissions
IKE - UDP port 500
ESP – IP protocol 50
NAT-T - UDP port 4500
SSH - TCP port 22
BFD - TCP port 4784
BFD - UDP port 4784
ICMP
Internal LAN
DHCP - UDP port 67
DHCP - UDP port 68″
Also need to make sure there are no active Firewalls in place that may stop a connection.
