Hello again
I have noticed recently that my iPhone is not picking up my 2.4GHz network name and is only finding
the 5.0 GHz one. They have different network names defined ie: for 2.4 and 5.0 but they share the same password (This should not matter).
I used the browser to enter the Connect Box settings and switched off the 5.0 GHz to see if the 2.4 would appear but it did not. The iphone was still connecting to the 5.0 GHz network even though it has been disabled on the Connect box and the home page for connect box showed that 5.0 was NOT being broadcast.
I used to be able to see both my named networks for 2.4 and 5.0 but not now.
Also the UPC TV Box seems to keep losing bandwidth. Which my guess is that the bandwidth is not trying to support all my devices on the 5.0 GHz because the 2.4 GHz is no longer available.
I tried switching off the connect box to reset everything but still same problem.
The Home page on the connect Box does show that both 2.4 and 5.0 are available, after I enabled both of them.
I am running out of ideas, any suggestions. This has been occurring for some time and have not really bothered till now and realised this could be an issue with my network trying to support too many devices on a single bandwidth of 5.0 GHz
I have at least 9 devices connected at all times. 2xPrinters, Laptops, Desktop, ipad, 2xiPhone, Solar Battery and UPC TV Box.
