localhost7 I am supposed to have 1024 Mbps download speed. But I only get 200 Mbps max. Can you imagine any reasons for so low speed? The building is new, all the instalation is fine.
Daniele_Sunrise localhost7 Since you have your modem in bridge mode, we can’t measure your line. Please set your modem back to router mode. After that, please perform 3 measurements via CNLAB according to these instructions and report back here with the CNLAB UID. Greetings Daniele
localhost7 Quick update: I now have the router in bridge mode and I use my own router. The speed I can get is 400 Mbps average. Still missing 600 Mbps
localhost7 Ok, I had to fully reset the router to get back to normal router function and now it works fine to full speed. However, it is intereseting the spikes it does every 8 seconds. https://ux.cnlab.ch/speedtest/Controller?page=UserReport&language=en&userid=1710111403683386
Daniele_Sunrise localhost7 Do you use security software like antivirus / firewall on the computer that does the tests? If so what kind(s) do you have? Greetings Daniele
localhost7 I have Avast, free version. I also have NordVPN, but it was disconnected at the time of test.
Daniele_Sunrise localhost7 If you now uninstall Avast as a test (do not deactivate), the spikes should be gone. You are welcome to test it. Greetings Daniele
localhost7 I did several tests just with the Avast deactivated and it’s much more stable. I will now switch back to bridge mode. Thanks for your help Daniele 😉
