Watching TV (Basic package) in smart TV. How?

Hi all!

Heve recently signed up with UPC to have internet at home, with it it came the basic package of TV channels and I wonder how we get to watch those channels on the TV. Do we need to connect the TV to the antenna of the building? I have no TV box.

Here some photos, first the plug on the wall (the one used is connected to the router)

Do I need to get a cable to connect it? Will the TV start finding the TV channels if I do a channel search?

You have done everything correctly. The only thing missing is that you plug the antenna cable into the TV and then make a search with this data.

One last question, for the cable, could you let me know which cable should I be buying to get connected the TV?

JorgDomi A simple double shielded antenna cable should suffice. I don’t use any special cable at home. Your two cables are OK.

If you have interference in the signal, you can buy a more expensive double shielded antenna cable.
