Since I moved a couple of weeks ago, I keep having trouble with internet speeds collapsing to very low speeds every now and then (typically for 10-20 min a few times a day). After finally managing to get on the phone with someone from UPC, they told me that they would only consider the case if I did a 12 hours speed test over a LAN connection (even though I did my speed tests in the same room as the connect box and even though my mobile connect app tells me that wifi reception is good). I am a bit unhappy with that as this requires me to buy another adaptor and LAN cable before even being taken seriously. Any other suggested alternative I can try on my own? Any email address I can contact UPC at?
Along the same lines I have repeatedly tried to access my router settings (192.168.0.1) but every time I try (for the last 3 weeks) I get the following message after entering my password:
"The service may be interrupted, temporarily inaccessible or encountered errors transferring data.
Try Again" and that also when I tried to reset the router. On the phone, I was just told to wait and try it again later :-/… Any alternative suggestions?
Thanks
