Missing channels of Cablecom box?

I was on the UPTV app earlier and noticed that it had more channels than on my Cablecom box. The channels are Dave, 5Star, 5USA and Paramont. I have checked for updates on the box but cannot find them. How do I access them please?

If you live in German-speaking Switzerland, the stations have the following station number:

Dave Channel 219
5Star Channel 216
5USA Channel 217
Paramount Channel 218

Thank you for the reply. These are the channels but they do not appear on the cablecom box. Is there something that needs to be done (update channel list for example)

spright What error message do you get when you access these channels on your UPPC TV box? Can you please send us your customer number, address and date of birth via private message for further checks?

spright I have checked it again. The channel numbers I specified are for the UPC TV Box.

For your Horizon device, the channels are not available. I assume because they are distributed via IPTV, which the Horizon box can not. The channel list for your device can be found here.

If you have the Horizon box then you won’t get those channels. Unless they put the price up (haggle on the phone if they do) I recommend changing to the UPC TV box.

Advantages of new box:

Cloud recording - box doesn’t need to be on; can schedule remotely; can watch online; recordings are still available even if you reset or replace your box
Smaller, quieter, cooler, more energy efficient
Boots up and operates much faster
More stable

Disadvantages of the new box:

No local recording (cloud recordings are deleted after a max of 1 year)
Dolby digital only available on live tv (replay or recordings drop to stereo)
