Hello All, I am thinking of switching my internet to UPC. Does anyone know if it is possible to have a gigabox running in the living room and a second router in my office (connected to it via UPC wall socket)? WLAN connection is not possible, due to concrete walls..

That would require an additional contract with additional costs for a second ConnectBox.
Free is only an Ethernet cable, WLAN or DLAN used with one ConnectBox.

Thought that might be the case. Then, maybe the other option would be to connect the gigabox in the office and then via the existing powerline to the living room. Then I guess you need a TV connect box to connect the TV?

To watch the Basic TV channels you only need the wall socket (DVB-C), no need for the TV-Box if you don’t require replay or recording. Just run a digital channel search with the parameters of your city on the Television, that’s it.
