1) why UPC CH App is available only on amazon.de? Could it be possible to put it as well on amazon.it store?

2) what do i need to do to install it? It does not allow me - even on amazon.de - because of country restrictions? What parameter should i actually change to Switzerland?

Now Alexa is available finally in Switzerland and it would be great to use this app in Fire TV stick 4k!!

You can download the UPC TV app only in the corresponding Swiss app stores. You can find the download links here.

We do not distribute our UPC TV app via Amazon. How to change the country of your store you can find via Google “Change Store Country App Store”. (Android / Apple)

@Daniele_UPC#1to146 Thanks for reaching out, i think it’s an interesting topic as Alexa is now available in CH and people are starting to deploy the Fire ecosystem…

If I click on the link you sent me, it redirects me into amazon.de where i see the app UPC CH, but it tells me “tuns me leid”, basically i am not allowed to download anything.

could you please tell us the step by step to get it done without amazon.de account? I just have an amazon.it account, but you told us that we can do it without any amazon account.

Maybe do you mean Google CH store? Well i have Apple iOS…

Gfainky You still have the wrong country set. Please change the country of purchase to “Switzerland”. With a click on “Warum” you will find more information.

Hi,

“Meine Addresses” in amazon.de is set to Schweiz, but still cannot download.
So where should i set the “purchasing country”?

I am in amazon.de and my address is Schweiz, what else is needed?

i should be able to download content for Schweiz, but it is not possible.

Gfainky Can you please try this once?

To transfer your Amazon account from your current Amazon website to your local Amazon website:

Go to Manage Your Content and Devices and click the Preferences tab.
Under Country Settings, click Change.
Select or enter your address, and then click Update.
If you are eligible to purchase digital content from another Amazon website, follow the onscreen prompts to learn more about what will happen if you transfer accounts.
When you’re ready, select the option to transfer your account to complete the process.

It worked in the moment i changed the location to Germany for my Kindle device settings (not the amazon account).
