bowlinguru Since this morning, we’ve been experiencing inconsistent performance with our internet. The network tool on the modem reports Broadband Service errors. Roughly 40% of pings are timing out on both IPv4 and IPv6. A speed test also reveals a very-slow-to-non-existent upload (0.00 - 0.04 Mbps) when 100Mbps is expected. The outage that was reported for Basel 4051 on the service status page (https://www.upc.ch/en/support/service-status/) this morning has been resolved, but problems persist for us. How can I get more attention to this issue? Thank you
TheSven First: Have you restarted the modem after the outage? If that doesn’t help, @Daniele_Sunrise can have a look at your signal at the socket. Or you can contact the hotline at 0800 66 88 66. Just select german in the menu and wait until someone answers. Then request someone with english skills. They can check your signal and that from surrounding customers.
bowlinguru 🤦 How could I forget step one of troubleshooting! Restarting has helped the upload back up to 100Mbps, and brought timeouts down to 5%. I’ll continue to monitor. Thank you.
