Andrea70 The status light of the QNAP is red on your picture. According to information on the net, the cause can be the following:
Here is a list from Qnap when the front red LED is on:
- the hard disk is out of order
- the hard disk capacity is exhausted.
- the hard disk capacity is almost exhausted.
- the system ventilation is out of order.
- An error occurred while accessing the hard disk data (read/write).
- A bad sector has been detected on the hard disk.
- The NAS is in degraded write-protect mode (two drives in a RAID 5 or RAID 6 configuration are faulty; the hard disk data can still be read).
- (Hardware self-test error).
Please consult your NAS manual for problem resolution.
