Dear UPC.
I am a customer now for a about a month. I have the Duo program with 200mb download speed and television bundle. Me and my girlfriend have a total of three computers; two macs (one brand new) and one Windows 7 laptop.
We’ve had severe connection issues for the last two weeks. Despite sitting literally right next to the Horizon box (and getting full connectivity according to the display), our software and browsers cannot access internet. We have reset the box a few times now and it seems to be getting worse. If I disconnect from the WiFi and the reconnect (via the computer), the internet works for about a minute. It then pops off for several minutes before working for a minute again, after which it goes offline. Rinse and repeat. All the time the WiFi is displayed as full connection.
This occurs in the brand new MacBook and the Windows computer. The old Mac has fewer issues, although it also drops out often. None of the computers have been connected to via a Ethernet cable to the box. I thought this might help but I would not want to spend money on an object that I would not need.
Is this an issue with the computers or is it in issue with the box? Because it was not a problem in the beginning.
As a note: we have two mobile phones connected as well, and we’ve had no problems with them whatsoever.
