Widely varying internet speeds + frequent drops

Hi guys! I noticed that my internet speeds are varying widely from device to device and also all wireless connectivity is dropping from time to time (at least once a day if not more), which is quite annoying when in a business call. I already split the network in 2.4 and 5ghz SSIDs, but that doesn’t seem to resolve it.
I did a few Ookla Speedtest runs with my iPad pro and got download speeds of 344Mbps on 16th of Jan, and today i got repetitively 5.06, 6.08, 14.4, 6.44, 8.53 and 50.4 Mbps speeds. The upload speeds were however much higher at 35.8 - 60.7 Mbps.
If i do this on my iPhone i get 300-400Mbps though on my laptop only 10 Mbps today, but a couple days ago >250Mbps.
Is there anything i can do improve? It is a bit of a waste now that just changed to the new 600/60 subscription 🙂

We have made the switch to IPv4, which will be completed in 30 minutes. After that restart your modem. If you have difficulties, perform a modem reset. To do this, gently press the reset button on the back with a pointed object for at least 25 seconds.

Then test your line according to the following instructions.

Thanks Daniele! So far so good. I did need to perform the reset, but for now when on the 5ghz network it seems I can get consistently >150 download on all devices. I have to see if the stability remains good. Thanks for the help so far!

tomhks Ok I’m afraid it didn’t solve it. It seems to be back to the previous. Noticed the Smart TV (OLED LG) is also cutting out. This is from my laptop:

tomhks ,Unfortunately we cannot accept speed tests from Ookla. In my last message there is a guide for a correct speed test via CNLAB.

Apologies for that Daniele. I ran the CNlab overnight on my iPad as i cannot install the app on my work laptop due to 3rd party app restrictions. Results you can see here. I did a few spot checks on my other devices and my iPhone does show much higher speeds typically.

tomhks , The test results with your iPhone are very good. Those of your iPad not always, except the last test.

I can not give more tips, because it is WIFI. If you feel that the speed values are not ok, use a laptop (private) with LAN connection and start a longer series of measurements.
