Update on staffing changes in the Community team.

Dear Community,
Today I’d like to give you a personal update on my plans for the future.
I will be leaving UPC at the end of June 2017 and swapping my desk for a backpack. Because I’m planning a trip lasting several months through Asia and Australia.
Although I’m looking forward to backpacking, I’m sad to be saying goodbye. I’ve got to know lots of wonderful people at UPC and, of course, here in the Community. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank you, the Community members, for your hard work here in the forum. Even in difficult times (and we’ve had plenty of those 😉), you have remained loyal to the Community, which has really impressed me. I have really enjoyed working together with you and I’m happy that one or two long anticipated projects have been launched during my time at UPC 😛.
I have always taken your concerns seriously and I am very happy to see how the importance of the forum is recognised internally and the voice of the Community is becoming increasingly significant.
Someone else will be taking on my role and the Community team will grow even more in the long term. Frida will inform you about this once a decision has been made. And, of course, she will also make sure that my successor has an open ear and a good sense of humour. Because you need that here, as we all know. 😀
I’ll still be hanging around in the Community until the end of June, so it’s not quite time for me to say goodbye yet. That can wait a bit longer. 😉 Instead, I’m looking forward to my final two weeks with you! So if you have concerns, take the opportunity to bombard me. 😛
Best wishes,
Anina
